Presidential Baseball Fast Facts: President John F. Kennedy sat through every inning of every game he was able to attend during his Presidency. He was an avid fan of his hometown Boston Red Sox, but never had a chance to attend one of their games while in office. President Kennedy had a staff member named Dave Powers act as his official "Undersecretary of Baseball."
This is a 16" x 20" black and white photograph of President John F. Kennedy throwing out the ceremonial first pitch in Washington, DC on April 10, 1961. The photograph is accompanied by a 4" Seal of the President of the United States patch and engraved gold nameplate with detailed historical John F. Kennedy baseball moments.
