Our 2008 auction goal is to raise $60,000, 100% of which will fund humanitarian grants. Since the auction's inception in 2000, we have funded nearly 20 projects totaling more than $336,000 worldwide. These grants delivered needed pathology services to thousands of underserved patients in the U.S., Africa, Vietnam, and Haiti. Foundation grants also have made possible the translation of scientific discoveries into clinical practice and patient care, as well as exposed pathologists to important developments in the use of technology related to pathology. Last year's auction raised $54,000 for these and other similarly important projects...with your help we can repeat this success.
