Even though our auction has ended, our work continues. For 36 years, The Community Health Center of Burlington has increased access to high quality care for Vermonters, regardless of their ability to pay, through special programs that include: sliding fee scale for all of our medical, dental & mental health services for the uninsured; free specialty clinics staffed by volunteer doctors; free and low cost prescription programs; social work support; and interpreter services for non-English speaking patients. One of Burlington's largest family practices and Chittenden County's only Federally Qualified Health Center, the Health Center provides comprehensive health, dental, mental health and human services to uninsured, underinsured, low income, and homeless community residents. Our Homeless Health Care Program, working in collaboration other local agencies, offers a full range of services at two specialized clinics in downtown Burlington. The Safe Harbor Clinic serves adults and families at 184 South Winooski Avenue and the Pearl Street Clinic at 179 Pearl Street cares for at-risk youth and young adults.
