The United Way Special Events committee has launched an online auction to raise money for Eaton's 2005 United Way Campaign.

Why? This year, we were asked by United Way to increase our campaign by 5% above the great results that we achieved last year. We agreed to do so. While the national economy has demonstrated a broad recovery, our local economy is lagging. One consequence of the region's slower pace in this recovery is that more and more people are reaching out for help to improve their lives and resolve problems.

We have accumulated a number of great items to auction off with the help of Eaton's Special Events Committee. Your participation in our auction will help us to add to the United Way campaign proceeds and make our goal a "slam dunk".

Get a start on your holiday shopping today! Your contribution to United Way may be tax-deductible as allowed by law. Consult your tax advisor. Products in this site are available to Eaton employees and retirees in Northeastern Ohio. If you have questions, contact unitedway@eaton.com.
