Two men are diagnosed every 5 minutes. 230,000+ yearly. 30,000+ deaths annually, increasing as Boomers age.The incidence is comparable to breast cancer in women. Yet awareness, intervention, and funding lag dramatically.
SS-USA, senior softball's top organization, is Safe At Home's prime partner. In '04-'05 thousands of players and their families were directly reached at tournaments and in 'Senior Softball News.'
Seminars, video programs, and on-site screening have been provided. Safe At Home teams up with players wives at the 350-team '06 World Championships.
Reaching men and their loved ones with an awareness and action message at age 50, or younger if risk factors are present, is the purpose of this non-profit project.
