Carlos is Director of PRASAD de México, A.C. and on the International Board of Directors of The PRASAD Project. Angélica's service, like her art, is imbued with PRASAD's values of commitment, love and compassion. "When I find myself in front of a blank and silent canvas I try to bring my mind to the space of quietude and silence. I meditate...I meditate until I reach a creative communion between the canvas and my own spirit.
The first strokes of color, that speak to me like voices in a peculiar language, manifest like life experiences and intimate emotions. This in turn evolves into concrete images and characters."

Handcrafted Quilts by Mary Sterling
Hand quilted by noted Florida textile artist, Mary Sterling. Originally from New England where she was a manager of a fabric store, Mary now lives in Florida where she is a founding member of Lakeland Ladies Quilt Guild. Mary is particularly noted for her wonderful eye for unusual combinations of patterns and colors. Mary created these quilts during the nine years she cared for her husband at home. A wife's true love and devotion are stitched into every quilt. May they cover you with love!

  • Quilts are gently machine washable. Dry clean or launder as necessary.
  • Do not store in plastic bags as this may encourage mold or moisture to collect.
  • If you wish to cover your quilt cover with an old cotton sheet.
  • Avoid strong sunlight as colors may fade.
