Nestled high in the Wasatch Mountains, the historic mining town of Park City is unlike any other ski town in the U.S. Home to three world class ski resorts, The Canyons, Deer Valley and Park City Mountain Resort (PCMR), the town of Park City offers four season recreation as well as sophisticated dining and nightlife, all within a 40 minute drive from Salt Lake City International airport. It's no wonder the town of Park City was the virtual epicenter of the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympic Games. Accessed by car, bus or shuttle on Interstate 80, the Park City-area ski resorts are the easiest to get to from downtown Salt Lake City, with The Canyons being the closest drive time of any resort at just 35 minutes. NOTE: Available for a mutually agreed upon 5-day/4-night long weekend during the 2008-2009 ski season or summer 2008 (for a summer getaway, if preferred). However, the following dates are specifically excluded: the Winter and Spring breaks of The Latin School of Chicago, MLK Jr. weekend, and President's Day weekend).
Ski in/ski out of this luxurious vacation home located in The Colony at the Canyons Ski Resort in Park City, Utah in this recently constructed five bedroom home featuring an 8-12 person bunkroom for the kids, plus additional pull-outs so it can sleep up to 20 people. Just perfect for sharing with friends or for hosting a family reunion! Also included is the use of an eight-passenger SUV for shopping and dining excursions in lovely Park City.
The town of Park City is a true four season resort town. In the winter, you'll find world class skiing and snowboarding. You can also enjoy the thrill of speeding down the same bobsled run used in the 2002 Winter Olympics in an authentic competition bobsled. Other activities include nordic skiing on groomed trails, guided snowshoe tours, snowmobile tours and hot-air balloon rides.
