Item Description
A colorful beaded doll from the South African women's cooperative Monkeybiz. The non-profit co-op has revived spectacular Zulu, Xhosa, Ndebele and Sotho bead working tradition, and employs 300 disadvantaged South African women who can work on their beading at home. In addition, MonkeyBiz turns their proceeds back into the community, further funding the fight against HIV/AIDS.
