Small business specialist Judith Miles of Chrysalis Consulting offers four hours of business assessment and planning culminating in a practical business plan for use by the small, owner-operated business. The business plan would be delivered in both bound and electronic formats and can be used for internal planning purposes or to supply needed information for consideration by a financial institution as part of a loan application to purchase assets or expand operations.
The planning sessions include:
One hour of initial evaluation and assessment;
Two hours (approximate) drafting a business plan outline, including: customer/client identification, buying patterns of ideal market, primary market research, SWOT analysis, outline of traditional/non-traditional marketing, financial options, legal analysis;
One hour delivering and explaining the plan to the successful bidder.
Alternatively, the successful bidder may substitute a feasibility analysis of a potential opportunity. The plan would be suitable for a sole proprietorship or a small business with a local focus in manufacturing, service or retail.
Timeframe for consultation: Services to be rendered and completed by January 31, 2008.
