Item Description

One Beautiful 2007 MS70 $25 Gold American Eagle Coin donated by Paramount Rare Coin and Currency.

The Gold American Eagles are the first legal tender gold produced since the infamous melt-down of 1933. The United States produced four denominations ($5, $10, $25, & $50 Dollars) as they did prior to 1933. The obverse of the coin has Standing Lady Liberty that was transferred form the $20 St. Gaudens.  The reverse depicts a nest with the mother eagle and her baby eaglets with father eagle flying into the nest signifying the strength and unity of the American family.

The Gold American Eagles are some of the most collected coins today because of their beauty and being more pure than goin coins produced in the past. The driving force behind the Gold Eagles are their low mintages and being able to purchase them without paying premiums that most antiques require today. Over the past decade, demand has been increasing among collectors and investors because of the potential upside of appreciation, not only because of the constant rise in spot, but certified coins in higher condions (MS69/MS70), have been the focal point in today's market.
