Item Description
D'elegance Salon and Day Spa was selected by the Houston Business Journal as one of the "Top 25 Day Spas in Houston" and more recently "The 2007 Largest Day Spa in Houston". Now you can see and experience this spa for yourself with their head to toe Hot Stone Therapy. This 75 minute massage is direct from nature, as this technique uses heated volcanic stones to promote deep relaxation and a sense of well-being.
Volcanic Rocks, (approximately 8 million years old) are heated and applied to the body using traditional massage techniques, to lull you into a meditative state. The heated stones are used to relax the muscles, connective tissue, tendons and ligaments. The hot stones also promote excellent circulation. Additionally, cold stones may be used to treat inflammation, sinus or headaches.
Throughout time, different cultures have used hot stones to promote wellness and tranquility. These cultures include the Native American Indians, the Japanese, Scandinavians and even Tibetan Monks (in their fasting rituals).
Take a virtual tour of D'Elegance Day Spa and you will know that this special massage treatment is certainly one to remember! Afterwards, why not make a day of it with your very own personal style consultant.
Note: Expires Feb. 3, 2008
