Item Description

This shark makes "JAWS" look like a minnow. The Megalodon Shark was a ancient shark that grew to around sixty feet long, it has been extinct for over a million years. This actual Megalodon Shark Tooth is 4-5/8 inches long by 3-1/8 inches wide. It is approximately 4-7 million years old.  A fossil this rare is certainly a collectors item for anyone interested in fishing or fossils!

Item Special Note

This tooth is from a Carcharocles Megalodon and was found by scuba divers in the Morgan River, SC. It is from the geological Hawthorne Formation and is Early Pliocene-Late Miocene.
