The Inn is located in Burton, Texas in the heart of Washington County, the birthplace of Texas. The Knittel Homestead Inn features beautifully appointed rooms in the 1870 (ca.) Knittel House or in the 1914(ca.) Washington House. Expansive wrap-around porches on both houses are well suited for sitting, relaxing and enjoying the fresh country days and nights.
