Item Description
Frog has character and charm and an excellent Cleveland pedigree.
Designed by nationally acclaimed and locally adored Cleveland artist William Mozart McVey (1904-1995). this bronze sculpture, Frog, measures 5-1/2" high.
The bronze is Estate-Issued and was cast in 2006 by Mark Olistsky at Studio Foundry of Cleveland, which cast the artist's work during his lifetime.
A 1964 recipient of the Cleveland Arts Prize, Mr. McVey enjoyed a national reputation, having created monumental sculptures for the British Embassy in Washington, the National Cathedral, and, closer to home, the Cleveland Botanical Garden and the Museum of Natural History, among others.
