Ashland Nature Center offers four self-guiding nature trails traversing 81 acres of rolling terrain through meadows, woodlands and marshes, adult and school programs, seasonal events and much more. Ashland Nature Center is located 9 miles northwest of Wilmington, 11 miles north of Newark and 5 miles south of Kennett Square, PA. From June through October, a Butterfly House provides close-up observations of butterflies in stages from eggs to adults.
Abbott's Mill Nature Center features education programs for families, school classes and public groups, walking trails through fields, pine woods and streams, and a historic, fully operational gristmill.
