Item Description
It's a French Oenophile's Dream - a Grand Cru Winetasting dinner for you and five of your friends. Sit down to a gourmet dinner at Buffalo's City Grill -- a winner of the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence -- and enjoy some of France's most renowned grand cru wines. Vice Provost Lucinda Finley will be selecting the wines from her cellar and the chef at the City Grill will prepare a menu to complement the wines. The wines that will be served:
white: 2004 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru
Reds: Three of the most highly rated grand cru wines from Pauillac region of Bordeaux, from the outstanding year 1989: Chateau Pichon-Longuevile Baron (Wine Spectator rated 98); Chateau Lynch-Bages (Wine Spectator rated 98); Chateau Mouton Rothschild (Wine Spectator rated 91)
Dessert Wine: 1985 Chateau d'Yquem
