At 5:55 p.m. on March 10, 1933, a massive earthquake rocked Southern California; Long Beach was particularly hard hit. “Long Beach Art Deco” celebrates, in both word and image, the Long Beach that rose from the rubble to become a premier Art Deco city. Signed by authors John Thomas and J. Christopher Launi, featuring images celebrating Long Beach's Art Deco heritage. One-year Art Deco Society of Los Angeles membership at the Participating level is included with the book.
