Item Description
This is a covered porcelain tureen in blues and greens created by Sarah Jaeger, a studio potter in Helena, Montana. Jaeger has been recognized as one of the leading studio potters in the country, creating pots that are rich in color and depth, and are also made for daily use. She has been a resident of the Archie Bray Foundation and currently teaches, lectures and shows her work nationally. This tureen is not only beautiful, but is food safe, ovenproof, and dishwasher and microwave safe. The tureen featured in the photo is not up for auction, but is nearly identical to the one you are bidding on. The colors are slightly different.
