Big Heart Item - Purchase two sets of Wool Carders (2 carders per set; 4 carders total) for the WSRF Handwork Program facilitated by Jill Scher.
A few words from Jill, "In the third grade the students are exposed to many different activities and skills as a way of giving them a sense of their abilities and an understanding of basic life skills. One of the activities we undertake is working with raw wool. The students learn how to card and spin it and ultimately make something from the yarn they have made. They each need a pair of wool carders to work with in order to prepare the wool for spinning. I have been purchasing a couple pair each year to slowly acquire the collection we need. Next year's third grade class is quite large and we will need many more pairs of carders. Thank you for your help!!"
