Item Description
Gift certificate for full tuition for one course (maximum value $250) through the Saturday High program at Art Center College of Design.
Many of Art Center’s graduates began their quest for a career in art and design in Saturday High. This high school-level program gives teens an opportunity to explore a variety of creative disciplines and study with a faculty of artists and designers who import the relevance of professional practice into the classroom. Saturday High students are introduced to important foundation courses in drawing, painting, and illustration. They learn the design process through courses in advertising, graphic design, film, letterpress printing, photography, environmental design, product design and transportation design. Classes meet for 10 weeks and are held in the College’s superb facilities. Most classes meet on Saturdays, with morning and afternoon sessions available during the fall, summer and spring terms. During the summer term, five-day intensive workshops and several weekday courses are available. In partnership with the California African American Museum in Exposition Park, Saturday High offers a limited range of courses each summer off-campus in urban Los Angeles.
