Item Description
Back in the days when Cathedral School was founded, babysitters occasionally allowed children to plop themselves down in front of the television to eat a dinner served on a plastic tray with dividers for the chicken, corn niblets and applesauce. While Birdseye and Walt Disney had the right idea, there was room for vast improvement. Like the Lone Ranger, enter Foreign Cinema to the rescue.
Foreign Cinema restaurant offers the quintessential San Francisco dining experience. The menu is an artful blend of California and Mediterranean cuisines and has earned rave reviews from the Chronicle, Gourmet, San Francisco Magazine, Cosmopolitan and even irascible bloggers. Here, you can have your cake, and quite literally, eat it too. Dine in supreme style while you view a classic film from the restaurant's enormous selection. When was the last time you watched the masters such as Antonioni, Bergman or Bertolluci? You could not find a more satisfying cultural and culinary indulgence.
Twelve (12) fortunate diners will be seated at the exclusive Director's Table on the mezzanine near the vintage 35mm projector. A movie such as La Cage aux Folles, Fiddler on the Roof or The Last Emperor will be shown as you savor three delectable courses expertly paired with wine.
Embrace your Inner Fellini and bid high.
