Item Description
On Friday, May 4, at 1 p.m., six (6) lucky guests will visit The National Geographic Society (NGS). This special tour will give your guests a feel of the history, legacy and direction of National Geographic. The tour will be led by a volunteer who has spent many years studying NGS, and participants will be taken through current NGS exhibits and all three buildings in the complex. That day, NGS features two fantastic exhibits: Zakouma, Elephant Crisis in Chad, and National Geographic Maps: Tools for Adventure, an interactive exhibit designed for kids. You are welcome to return the next day, Saturday, May 5, at 11 a.m. because this item also includes tickets to enjoy Rock Creek Park BioBlitz: A Musical Celebration. Live performer, Billy B., will use sounds of rhythm and blues, hip-hop and ska, and high-energy dancing to help the entire family learn about the bugs, birds, bats and other creatures that live in Rock Creek Park. And don't forget -- this special offering coincides with NPS Grandparent's Day. An absolutely perfect way to enjoy Washington for everyone in the family!
Item Special Note
