Item Description
24"x24" paint on canvas
Georges Seurat is the artist inspiration behind this canvas masterpiece created by the youngest members of our NPS community. Seurat is best known for developing the 'pointillism' style of painting, whereby small dots of pure color are placed side by side rather than blended, allowing the viewer's eye to read color and form as one whole.
In this painting, each child's individual marks come together with those of his or her classmates. The end result? A 'gotta have it' one of a kind painting representing the joy of youth, the spirit of individuality and the cohesiveness of our Nursery class.
Item Special Note
All NPS Student Art will be on display in the Katzen Center beginning April 4.
