Item Description
Hey! Hey! All you Cubs fans! You can own a piece of history with this 1996 lithograph by Bill Purdom.
Titled "Let's Play Two," it commemorates Ernie Banks' 500th home run, May 12th, 1970, run here at Wrigley! That blast, off Atlanta Braves right-hander Pat Jarvis, landed two rows up in the left field bleachers and bounced back onto the field. This made "Mr Cub" the ninth player to hit the 500 mark. (only 12 players to date!)
This piece measures 20' by 31' in size and is numbered 276/600.
