Item Description
2003 Cabernet Sauvignon; "Estate" Alexander valley
12 Bottles - One Complete Case
Gold Medal Winner 2006 San Francisco Wine Competition
This is our first "Estate" bottled cabernet. Big, bold and darkly-colored, this wine is seductively styled with flavors that are layered around a focused core of ripe plum, black currant and cassis. Hints of oak and spice add to its complexity but it is the generous fruit impressions and rich texture that anchor the mid-palato.
The finish is highlighted by polished and smooth tannins that flow across the palato, leaving behind coffee and cranberry notos. Drink now through 2012.
