Item Description
The Lao style of weaving is found along the Mekong River in both Laos and northern Thailand, where it is an important cultural and financial part of traditional village life. The pieces are used traditionally as wall hangings and scarves. This handwoven 100 percent silk scarf is hand-embroidered with intricate deisgns and is lined with a simple, elegant knotted silk fringe. It is approximately 60" L x 16.5" W.
