Item Description
Four of you will experience a trip of a lifetime!
You are going to Chile, the South American location of the top wines of the continent, and you are going to stay at a very new, very gorgeous world famous wine estate! Located about 200 km south of Santiago, between the Andes and the Pacific Ocean, the Apalta region is one of Chile’s best.
Our Honorary International Ambassador (and Casa Laspostolle owner), Alexandra Marnier Lapostolle de Bournet, came to Chile in 1994 for a reason: she wanted to create world-class wines using French expertise and the superb terroir of Chile. (Her family is best known for introducing Grand Marnier, and also owns the renowned Loire estate Chateau de Sancerre.)
And you will be able to see why she traveled so far from home!
Alexandra has generously made the luxury lodges at the new Clos Apalta winery your home for up to five nights. Consider these magnificent lodges your base for exploring the riches of the region. As Clos Apalta is Casa Lapostolle’s most famous, highly-rated and special wine, you know the property has to be pretty terrific.
You can take advantage of the spa on the property, walk in the nearby hills or in the beautiful vineyards that stretch before you. Enjoy the vineyards by horseback, trekking, relaxing in the Casitas, and other activities in Clos Apalta.
The staff will organize visits to the other top quality wineries in the region, including visits at Montes, Santa Emiliana organic wines VOE, Los Vascos, or any others.
Alexandra is in Chile often, at least at the end of February, end of March, and the end of November for certain. Plan your trip when she is there, and you can dine with her and have her recommend other activities. Remember that July is their winter, so Alexandra does not recommend a visit at this time of year!
You will also spend two nights in Santiago; one when you arrive, and one the last night. You will also be provided a rental car for the trip, to be able to come and go as you please.
This trip will be sold as one lot for two couples.
