Item Description

You have a choice of 18th Century indulgence: choose whether to pamper yourself (and seven friends) for a week at a private manor house nestled in the Scottish Highlands OR at a Palazzo within the charming medieval hilltop town of Barga, Italy. You cannot go wrong — either way, four couples will experience a luxurious getaway with meals and wine provided by a professional butler and staff!

If your choice is to travel to the Scottish Highlands, you will be a guest at Kilmartin Hall, an 18th century private manor house on Loch Miekle, amid spectacular mountain scenery.

This 30-acre pastoral farm offers seven bedrooms, a Great Hall, Drawing Room, Billiard Room, Morning Room, Dining Room, as well as outbuildings and a private, walled garden. The property is complete with highland red cattle, sheep, three dogs and a friendly ghost. Among activities available to you are the Royal Dornoch and Nairn golf courses located within one hour’s drive. Take a long hike, go sightseeing, or relax with a good book.

OR if you choose instead to travel to the continent, you can enjoy a week at the Tuscan Palazzo Salvi in Barga, Italy.

This historic 18th century Palazzo with independent farmhouse is set in the vineyards and olive groves. The Palazzo is situated at the very edge of the walled city – just below Barga’s beautiful 11th century cathedral, enjoying the most spectacular views of the surrounding town and countryside. This unique position allows easy access to all of Barga’s bars, restaurants, exclusive shopping, and theatre, jazz and opera festivals in the summer months. Plus, Lucca, Sienna and Florence are all nearby.

This trip will be sold as one lot for four couples.
