Item Description
From our Oregon Wine Ambassador, Mike Etzel, comes a phenomenal, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to truly experience the best wine and food with the most influential wine critic in the world, Robert M. Parker, Jr. This lot is PRICELESS!
Today, virtually every knowledgeable observer agrees that Robert M. Parker, Jr. and The Wine Advocate exerts the most significant influence on the serious wine consumer’s buying habits and trends not only in America, but throughout the world.
This special experience for three couples includes roundtrip air transportation to Baltimore, Maryland, Robert M. Parker, Jr.’s hometown, courtesy of American Airlines.
While in Baltimore, you will dine at the award-winning Charleston Restaurant in Baltimore’s burgeoning Harbor East. Described by Zagat as “culinary heaven,” the Charleston puts the emphasis on personal choice and personal service. Most recently, Chef Wolf was nominated as the James Beard Foundation’s Best Chef in the Mid-Atlantic region for 2006.
At dinner, you will join Mike Etzel, his brother-in-law, Robert M. Parker, Jr., Robert’s wife Patricia, and Dr. Jay Stuart Miller, The Wine Advocate’s new wine critic for the Pacific Northwest, for a gourmet masterpiece of wine and food.
To begin, enjoy a select Beaux Frères vertical tasting presented by Mike Etzel. From a mere 24 acres, Beaux Frères, in Oregon’s Northern Willamette Valley, produces some of the highest rated North American Pinot Noirs, which you will be fortunate enough to enjoy.
Dinner will be an eight course culinary experience prepared exclusively by Chef Cindy Wolf and paired with wines selected by Robert M. Parker, Jr. from his private cellar of wine collected from around the world. The opportunity to see, savor and enjoy these wines is beyond compare!
During your stay, enjoy the gracious InterContinental Harbor Court Baltimore Hotel, offering elegant accommodations in a landmark setting.
Dates are mutually agreeable, but trip must be used by March 3, 2008.
This package will be sold as one lot for three couples.
If you are unable to attend the live auction on Saturday, March 3, 2007, please contact us for absentee bidding at 503-972-0194.
