Item Description
Scavenger Hunt (skav’en-jer hunt): A game in which individuals or teams seek to find all items on a list. Often, the goal is to race against competitors to retrieve items first.
Last year’s first ever ISTP Amazing Race included highlights such as teams in a frenzy, trying to figure out the next clue; participants frantically pedaling child-sized bikes on the Stanford Campus; pedestrians in Palo Alto getting into the game by helping players search for a particular mural; and a last second, game-winning shot into a hot tub with a fishing pole! If this sounds like fun – you’re absolutely right!
Hosted this year by Don and Debra St. Claire, and members from last year’s winning team, Jean and Lynette Philippe, Zia and Paru Yusuf, and Adam and Loan Beguelin, the ISTP Amazing Race is back to take you on new thrills and spills. You’ll start with a debriefing and drinks at the St. Claire's home. There, you will be divided into two teams and given your list of scavenger hunt items “to do” and “to find.” Next, you’ll jump in your limos and head off to meet your challenges. Your success in accomplishing these challenges will earn points for your team. When time’s up, you’ll reconvene again to compare points, share your stories, crown the winning team, and have a garden party dinner together.
This item will be sold to five different couples for a total of ten participants.
