Get ready for the big game with a 45 minute lesson with golf pro Michael G. Wagstaff. Mike joined McInnis Park and the Academy in 1998 with a strong and very diverse background that includes being a professional ice hockey player in Europe. In the off seasons from his hockey career Mike worked on his golf game, while also assisting the manager at Basingstoke Golf Club in London, and studying with the British Association of Golf Management to help make his career path into golf easier. Returning to the U.S., Mike and his wife Amy chose California to be their new home where he is now an Assistant with the Academy and enrolled in the PGA of America Program. Although not a big movie star, Mike just recently helped out with the movie, The Legend of Bagger Vance as the sound of his swing hitting the golf ball is used in the movie.
After your lesson enjoy a round of Golf with 3 of your friends on the McInnis Park Golf Course which is sure to challenge golfers of all levels and abilities. Designed by Fred Bliss, this 1900-yard, nine-hole, par 31 executive-links course features expansive, well-bunkered rolling greens with water hazards on three holes. You will find this course a pleasure with the surrounding beauty of the Marin Park's wildlife area and sweeping views of San Francisco Bay and Mt. Tamalpais.
