A workshop by college store consultant, Paul Mares. Topics offered are "Customer Service" or "Strategic Planning". The successful bidder must cover the consultant's travel expenses and hotel charges. Meal expenses and printing costs for the report are covered by the traveler and are not part of billable expenses.
Work shop consists of a full-day of facilitated instruction and a follow-up report summarizing the results of the workshop. The consultant is providing one or two travel days, depending on the store location and half day of report writing. Actual cost of the workshop is approximately $2200.
The consultant is Paul Mares, CCR, a college store manager and collegiate retailing consultant who has spent several decades in the collegiate marketplace in store management, industry consulting, industry teaching and as a vendor. He is also a Past President of NACS, CACS, The NACS Foundation and Chairman of the Board for NACSCORP.
Item Special Note
Although the actual workshop is one day, there is also considerable travel time preparation and follow-up included. The "full-day" may be defined by the successful bidder in terms of time of day and hours of facilitating up to eight hours. Details and dates will be negotiated between the successful bidder and the consultant.
