Item Description
This beautiful antique chair, circa 1920, comes from the north of France. It was used in church, in lieu of pews. These chairs were designed to served as seats-- and kneelers-- for the congregation. When turned around, the top of the chair serves as an arm rest, facilitating prayer. This chair is oak, with a rush seat. It is in excellent condition. Chair is 39" tall (back); 16" tall (seat); 16" wide (seat).
