Item Description
Derek Jeter went back on an angle to his right, sprinted, caught it, saved two runs in the 12th inning, and then made a sacrificial dive into the seats beyond the left field foul line at Yankee Stadium. Jeter made the dazzling play off the bat of Trot Nixon in the most memorable regular season games, between the Red Sox and Yankees on July 1, 2004. Jeter not only saved two runs, but with his bruised cheek bone and cut chin, Jeter proved why he is the captain. And because he's Derek Jeter, he was in the lineup the very next night. Catch the Moment when Derek Jeter makes another spectacular play to save two runs against the Red Sox. This 8X10 photograph of this great moment is hand signed by Derek Jeter and includes a Steiner Sports Certificate of Authenticity.
