Item Description
Sparkling, and royal in its purple hues, the amethyst has been loved since ancient times. The name amethyst was derived from a Greek word meaning "not drunken" because it was believed that wearing this gem would prevent inebriation. Other benefits included its ability to quicken wit, bring good luck, and keep love partners affectionate. This pretty 14kt yellow gold pendant showcases a faceted pear shaped 8.5 carat amethyst radiantly framed in a teardrop of gold. The pendant comes with a delicate 16 inch chain of 14kt yellow gold and finished with a spring ring clasp.
Item Special Note
The amethyst is medium-dark purple with slight natural color banding.
