Item Description
4 Private One-to-one Beginner Chess Lessons
Would you like your child to learn how to play chess from a kind, patient, easy to understand and experienced chess player and teacher?
Les Sutton (a member of the Sharon Chess Club for many years), has been playing chess since he was a boy, and has taught his children and grandchildren how to play, with patience, simplicity, and even makes it fun!
Les has brought the love of playing chess to other children as well when he was a volunteer chess instructor for Sharon Elementary Schools "Chess For Beginners" class run through the Community Ed Department.
In an easy to understand way, Les will teach your child how to play chess - all about the board, pieces, special moves and strategies, attacks, some advanced tactics, and game endings.
This certificate is good for four private one-to-one lessons (1/2 hour each lesson). The last lesson will involve playing an actual complete chess game.
Item Special Note
Mutually convenient lesson times to be arranged with Donor and Winner of these chess lessons.
Sharon and surrounding towns only (within 10 minute drive of Sharon Center) please.
