Meal#1 - Cache Lake Camping is easy to make, with a little bit of water, sometimes oil, and a pot or frying pan. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do! Your meal includes the following:
Biscuits & Gravy - Hot baking powder biscuits with sausage bits and plenty of homestyle gravy. The biscuits cook in an ordinary uncovered frying pan or on a griddle. Just add water to both mixes. The total preparation time is 8-10 minutes for the biscuits and only two minutes for the gravy (7.3oz)
Wild Rice Salad-Ranch Dressing - Full of fresh peas, crunchy carrots, crisp celery, and of course the “Caviar of Grains” wild rice. This salad is packaged with Ranch dressing. It’s also available in Italian dressing. (5.2oz)
Fryin’ Pan BreadTM-Italian - A delicious and satisfying addition to any meal. Each 5.6oz, package makes a little over a half-pound of bread. You are receiving Italian flavored. It also comes in plain (you can add PB&J), garlic, onion, or dill. (5.6oz)
Chicken Stew - This is a thick and hearty stew full of tasty vegetables (potatoes, onions, carrots, mushrooms, peppers, leeks, celery, tomatoes, and corn) and nutritious barley. Just add water and heat. The stew is done in 20 minutes or less from the time it is placed on the heat. Add the dumplings (mentioned below) while cooking, for a delicious “one-pot” meal. Quick & Tasty Dumplings - An easy to prepare dumpling mix. (3.2oz)
Quick & Tasty Chocolate Pudding - We mean really quick. Mix with water for one minute, let stand for another and it’s ready to eat. It is the creamy taste that gets the rave reviews. See how easy it is to have dessert with your meal on the trail. Also comes in vanilla. (4oz)
