Table Draft
September 7, 1994
title: "The Chinese Woman"
Original, authentic table draft, created specifically for the "table-read" the week of the episode titled "The Chinese Woman". Created only for the actors, writers and a small number of crew people. This is not a transcription of the show as it progressed throughout the week it was shot. This is a genuine "first draft", as it was when it was first given to the actors. It is in pristine condition with no markings on it.
It is the actual copy that was presented directly to the actors on the first day of the shoot as they sat around the table to read the script for the first time. The script has the authentic cardboard Seinfeld cover and fasteners that only an original script can have.
Donated by Bruce Kirschbaum, a Sharon High School graduate of the Class of 1972, who went to Hollywood and became a writer and producer for TV shows such as Seinfeld, Everybody Loves Raymond, The Ben Stiller Show, and many more. Bruce lives in Los Angeles with his family and is currently a writer for the TV comedy show "Curb Your Enthusiasm". He has donated this script, which is from his personal collection.
