Item Description
This is a Lithograph from a drawing created by Picasso in 1955. It is part of a collection known as the "Picasso Sketchbook". The lithograph describes in intimate detail his personal living and working space, the studio known as "La Californie" at Cannes. It is one of a series of such drawings that elaborated on this particular theme. Most of the works were in black and white, and this work is one of the few compositions that used color and is particularly detailed.
