Item Description
This is a lithograph entitled "Forgotten" by artist Carl L. Rosner. The winning bidder will also receive an original booklet compiled by the artist that shows the step by step process of the making of "Forgotten." The booklet is comprised of full size working sheets of the lithograph in all its stages. The lithograph itself is printed on a heavy acid free paper. Overall size is 22 inches by 29 inches. The image is 16¼ inches by 23¼ inches. The "working process" contains more than 30 sheets showing the lithograph process in detail, color by color. Carl L. Rosner was born in Atlantic City, NJ, in 1929 and has been a longtime resident of the Jersey Shore. Carl was educated at Rutgers University, The Pratt Institute, and the Workshop Studio of New York City and has been living and painting in Margate City, NJ, since 1966. Carl uses area architecture, landscapes, seascapes and, of course, the Jersey Shore for inspiration on his commercial and creative process. Carl's work has been commissioned for private galleries in Germany, Japan, Puerto Rico, South Africa, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Carl's award winning artistic creations can be viewed in the permanent displays of numerous business, restaurants, casinos and art galleries.
