Item Description
Evergon holds an MA from the Rochester Institute of Technology and is currently the Head of Photography at Concordia University in Montreal. He has been a practicing photographer since the 1970s and was one of the few artists to produce life-size white light transmissible holograms. His work focuses primarily, but not exclusively, on homosexual male cultures. Evergon's photographs can be found in the permanent collections of the National Gallery of Canada in Ottawa, Canadian Museum of Contemporary Art and the Princeton Collection, among others.
