Item Description
Brenda Tarbell received a BFA in ceramics from the Ohio State University in 1973. She studied ceramics for a summer at the Banff School of Fine Arts in 1974, before moving to Cincinnati. Here she has worked with Bob Hasselle and Mike Frasca at the Clifton Earthworks. Tarbell put her work in clay aside for many years after marrying and having children. Five years ago she returned to clay. She continues to study her craft with other potters and to take workshops whenever possible. She is a member of the Clay Alliance. Tarbell's work can be seen at local craft fairs, such as the Spring Pottery Fair, Hyde Park Art Fair, Pyramid Hill Art Show, and the 5th Street Gallery.
