This weekend training seminar on CBT for Insomnia is offered on May 5th -- May 7th at the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York. The seminar will provide information on both pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment. The majority of the course, however, will be focused on how to conduct Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I)as an evidenced based intervention for Primary and Secondary Insomnia. The seminar will be divided into five parts, which include:
- The definition of insomnia
- A review of the conceptual framework for treatment
- An overview of the components of therapy
- A session-by-session didactic
- A Case Example
- Video examples
