Item Special Note
Jaclyn Hamilton moved back to her hometown of Columbus, Ohio after receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Painting from the Kansas City Art Institute in Missouri in 2000. Upon graduation she received the award of "Best of Show" at KCAI's senior thesis exhibition at the H & R Block Artspace. She has since been featured in many galleries and exhibitions in the Columbus area. Ms. Hamilton has done performance pieces at the Madlab Gallery and BLD gallery as well as at Michael Orr Gallery, where she was a part of a group show titled "Defying Medium". She currently works at the Columbus College of Art and Design in the Admissions Department and teaches workshops both at CCAD and at the Columbus Museum of Art.
