Item Special Note
Jacqueline Marie Jasionowski graduated from The Ohio State University in 1999, with a BFA in drawing and painting. After four years as a recruiter, her passion for painting took her back to graduate school. Beginning in 2003 at Studio Art Centers International, in Florence, Italy, Jacqueline completed her MFA at Bowling Green State University in 2005. She has shown her work in several exhibitions, including those located in England and Italy. Jacqueline's main interest lies in questioning the individual's interest in concealing or revealing, through the use of clothing. Her references are removed from where their environment is clear and placed into a world that has not yet existed. Painting gives her the opportunity to put once what was into a transformed, reinvented and revived state.
