Item Special Note
I'm a big fan of fantasy, science-fiction, manga and anime. I enjoy drawing in these genres while adding twists to include and embrace my Christian beliefs. This particular drawing was inspired by "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" with my own twists as mentioned above with a focus of futuristic technologies and attire, past customs and creeds, abilities from fantasy with a Christian foundation as "the good vs. evil" plotline and theme. And, of course, rendered in the manga style. I am glad to see that the market for Spiritually inspired works that both entertain and stay true to the Christian faith are desired as seen in the success of Mel Gibson's "Passion of the Christ" movie. I for one am moved to contribute to this market as I myself desire to see more "cool and exciting" works made that also give God glory.
This piece will be on display at the Lab Gallery at the
Roger Smith Hotel in NYC from December 13th-17th.
