Item Special Note
I was motivated after reading St. John 19:28 from the Bible. There, it speaks about Jesus realizing that all things were accomplished just before He died. I pictured in my mind people viewing the event with many different thoughts. I selected people that express their feelings. Eyes from the top to the middle represent Angels that felt helpless watching the son of God dying and the bird on the cross represents the evil one waiting for the best meal he could eat. They people were taken from over 25 different books. The clothing was a piece of fabric from an old robe. I built up the insides of Jesus' body with toilet people glued together. It took me a great deal of time to find a picture that represented Jesus because I wanted him to have a strong impact.
This piece will be on display at the Lab Gallery at the
Roger Smith Hotel in NYC from December 13th-17th.
