This piece is based on a story circulating around the Fort Worth area about a bull that was born with the shape of Texas in his forehead. It is alleged that many a rancher lined up to solicit the stud service of this unique bull. To add to the mysticism surrounding this animal it is said that he was struck by lightning in the middle of the pasture, solidifying his place in the Texas annals as an omni-presence.
