Item Special Note
The outside clowns represent my family and friends who wait for my release. The inside clown is me, a carefree happy soul, trapped in the sytem and unable to secure any release. The can opener is the two-edged tool of the parole bouard and the court. Either end could get me released, but both are inactive. The cap of the bottle, the Wall's Unit, where inmates are released from pirson. My motivation is the helplessness and despair of waking each day in prison, no hope in sight. Every month we hear how this program and that program that is meant fo9r rehabilitation is withdrwan. We watch politicans encourage the public in building more prisons to incarcerate more human beings so that the state can get more money from the federal government. I see a never-ending chain of events, each adding more and more misery to everyone who gets entangled in the by judical system of Texas. I truly believe they should just put a huge security fense all around the state, and allow only the public outside of it. Do away with the prisons, as the whole state is slowly becoming one anyways.
