Item Special Note
"There is an awful lot said about us behind the walls, but not enough said about our loved ones left at home once we are gone. In my mind, I picture our mothers, wives, sisters or girlfriends alone at home missing those of us who are locked up. The torch is the light that stays lit to show us our loved ones are home and waiting for our return. A woman in a darkened room stands along missing the loved one taken from her arms, the vines of flowers and thorns are the barriers put before her when she wants to visit her loved one. Even though they might seem small, they are often difficult to get though and like the prison system it might seem easy to visit but more often than not the prison is very far away and she must go through changes just to visit or even write her loved one. Us here in prison are not the only ones doing time."
